We're developing our kit around Yulex, a natural rubber made from tree sap, not oil. It works like neoprene, holding in warmth and shrugging off the sun, but it's kinder to the planet.

Hi, I'm Kate,
founder of Dorphee and a proud latecomer to wild swimming. As a child I lived for the sea, and I found my way back to the water when perimenopause started turning my wellbeing upside down.
That same journey led to an ADHD diagnosis, which has been life-changing and finally answered so many questions.
When autumn hit, I went looking for better kit. I was shocked to find there was almost nothing high-performance that was actually made for my body. Thousands of other women told me the same. So I'm making it, with you right beside me as my testers, sounding board and wonderful community of Dorphees.
